What is Hair Transplantation?
Hair transplantation is the process of removing the hair between the two ears (in the nape area) with special methods and transplanting them to the bald area.
Hair Transplant Methods
The most advanced methods of hair transplantation today: Follicular Unit Transplantation FUT and Follicular Unit Extraction FUE in short.
FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation)
This technique is the process of removing and removing the hair in the nape area, where the hair follicles are located, in strips (currently this method is not used unless necessary).
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)
This technique is the process of removing the hair follicles in the donor area one by one using micro motor special punches without using a surgical blade.
FUE METHOD
No traces remain at the receiving site.
- All of the roots taken can be planted, and 95% of the planted ones come out.
- There is no tension.
- Hair grows naturally.
- Desired shape can be given.
- Transplantation can be done with hair taken from the nape and chest area.
- Sowing can be done easily in places such as burn scars.
- When regional sowing is done, the second session can be done 4 months later.
- Never use sutures and surgical blades.
- Eyebrows, beard and mustache can be planted.
- It is necessary to avoid doing heavy sports for 15 days.
- The day after the operation, you can return to your work without any problem.
Before HAIR TRANSPLANT (FUE) Operation;
- Local anesthesia is applied after the hair is shaved.
- Roots are taken from the back of the neck with the FUE method.
- Roots taken are sorted and counted by separating them as single, double and triple.
- The front hairline is drawn with the joint decision of our patient.
- Slots (channels) where hair follicles will be placed are opened.
- As the last step, the roots are planted.
- Sowing process is completed by dressing the patient.
- It takes between 5 and 7 hours in total.
After Hair Transplantation (FUE) Operation;
- From the day of sowing, water is not touched for 3 days.
- The first washing is done by us by explaining in practice.
- On the 10th day, crusting occurs and these are shed during the washing phase. The nape is completely healed.
- On the 15th-30th day, 60% of the transplanted hair falls out.
- On the 60th day, your hair starts to grow, not to be shed for life.
- On the 120th day, you have started to take images of your hair.
- By the 6th month, 80% of your hair has grown and you have become completely natural.
- The remaining 20% will be completed by the 8th month.
