Teeth whitening treatments are generally preferred by people who are not satisfied with the color of their teeth and who
have partial dentures, to ensure the aesthetic harmony of their new teeth with their own teeth. It can be applied in two different ways at home or in the clinic. Whitening gel is applied to the appliances prepared in the home bleaching method, as shown, and applied for 4-6 hours a day, and the treatment is continued for 6 days. The application in the clinic is an application method that lasts 60 – 75 minutes and ends in a single session. It is generally the preferred method as it gives quicker results. Teeth whitening can be applied in superficial discolorations from moderate yellow-brown discolorations to light gray, due to drug use, smoking, coffee or tea consumption.
It should be a risky application in very young and periapical diseased teeth, if there are micro cracks in the teeth, in patients with tooth sensitivity.
